Marrakech Design

Marrakech Design, founded in 2006, is a Swedish company that produces traditional Moroccan cement tiles. The pieces, whose design mixes Arabic and Nordic inspiration, are handcrafted. In addition to its own collections, the brand collaborates with several designers to offer a wide range of colors and graphic and contemporary patterns.

Inspired by one of their trips to Morocco, Ina-Lill and PA Ovin created their cement tile brand, Marrakech Design, in 2006. The couple, originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, chose to combine traditional Arabic designs with contemporary Swedish motifs to create a range of graphic tiles. From 2010, they collaborate with renowned designers to offer a wider range of patterns, sometimes relaxing, sometimes dynamic. Their pieces are handmade in the Moroccan tradition.
