Acropolis is a rug by Serge Lesage. Angular shapes in relief stand out from a finely striated background frame, with a dense and irregular weave. The abstract geometric pattern follows a rhythmic, fragmented, almost labyrinthine arrangement. Each element seems to be weightless on a braided base, creating a subtle play of depth. The whole ends without a marked border, letting the pattern extend freely in space.
