The story of Flamant began over 30 years ago, when the three Flamant brothers, Alex, Geo and Jacques, decided to develop their father's antique shop. The idea was to reinterpret furniture and old objects, sometimes with designer wallpapers, for the perfect mixture of past and present. This recurring theme could be found in all Flamant's collections, from the beginning, which was the basis for its international development. The company grew rapidly and Flamant opened its first shop in Anvers in 1992. Gand and Brussels quickly followed and soon the first Flamant wallpapers were created.
