Collection Créatone

Papier Français breathes new life into one of the finest collections of the 20th century. Remarkable for its play of light, but also for its unique colours and textures, it takes advantage of today's cutting-edge technologies. The Créatone range offers a reinvention of two series of wallcoverings bearing the same name, designed between 1972 and 1975 by the Œuf Centre d'Études, a group of artists with a wide range of backgrounds. The author of these artistic pieces, Arlette Granval, illustrates her talent for creating structured, dynamic motifs. They embody the geometric abstraction and optical art characteristic of the emerging contemporary style of the 1970s. The designs are also reminiscent of the mosaics, sculptures and architecture produced by the OCE. This collection, which was ahead of its time, enjoyed commendable success and modernity. These wallpapers disappeared in the early 2000s.
