The designers and founders of the design studio Raw Edges explore in this collaboration with Gan Rugs the relationship between the front and the reverse side of an embroidered pattern. Thanks to Gan Rugs excellence in embroidery, the designers, fascinated by the beauty of the backstitch viewed from the back of the rug, reveal in this collection the random nature of this hidden side. Understanding the structure of this involuntary motif leads them to develop combinations of colours, rhythms and thickness of yarns, bringing all the richness and subtlety of each piece embroidered by hand.
