M.C. Escher

Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) was a dutch artist famous for his fascinating drawings depicting intricate perspectives, astonishing optical illusions. His major works include Ascending and Descending where stairs are developped into infinite loops, Draw, drawing where two hands are drawn by each other and the Metamorphosis series that experiments the transformation and repetition of an image into a graphic pattern.
