Schumacher envisions David Kaihoi, a textile collection where each fabric extends a free, intuitive, almost pictorial gesture. The patterns become a territory of expression, alternating between repeated lines, abstract forms, or botanical fragments in a rhythmic and fluid composition. They trace balanced weaves—at times geometric, at others floating—as if suspended in space. Natural materials, such as linen, cotton, or chenille velvet, provide depth and vibration to these soulful designs. Every fiber reveals an organic texture—structured, soft, or matte—always anchored in the physical essence of the cloth. In this series, the eye wanders between the precision of the line and instinctive energy, between silence and movement.
