This sumptuous panel reproduces one of the Japanese prints archived by the Réunion de Musées Nationaux and exhibited at the National Museum of Asian Arts - Guimet. Made by painter Utagawa Hiroshige, it represents a captured moment of life. Three women can be seen fleeing in a snowy landscape. The work is drawn in shades of gray, only the figures and the streams are colored in vivid and deep hues. This coating brings an exotic and poetic touch to spaces.
