Bisanto collection is the result of the striking work of Italian artist, designer and creative director Antonio Aricò, whose purpose here is to revive Byzantine Italy through a collection of luxuriously patterned rugs adorned with a thousand colors. Combining the themes of art, craftsmanship and design with poetry, he opens the door to an intimate universe rejecting the coldness of industrialism where the fantasy and romanticism of the past are transposed to contemporary times. Antonio Aricò reinvents traditions and history by taking inspiration from real Italian historical masterpieces that he reinterprets by associating motifs inspired by ancient mosaics, heavy gold jewelry and precious stones to reveal new icons alive, poetic and contemporary.
