In London at the end of the 1880s, the Liberty shop became a fashionable place, drawing an exotic clientele and artists such as Rosetti, Burne-Jones or William Morris, members of the Pre-Raphaelite Movement. The Jubilee Collection invites us to relive this era by drawing on cachemire and Far-Eastern motifs which were very popular in the late 19th century.
This range also includes drawings from later eras but still rooted in the Art Nouveau spirit. These upholstery fabrics are all adorned with small and very small flowers in a dense and colourful composition.
