Created by German designer Mathias Hahn, Capas Blue rug displays subtle overlays of more or less sustained color that make up a shadow, which as indicated by the designer has neither black or gray. This effect of light and shadow is obtained thanks to a new kilim weaving technique on a pretty loose structure highlighting the entanglement of the warp and weft threads. The rendering is as visual as textured and asserts itself through geometric shapes imitating a drop shadow.
