Maarten Baas, considered one of the most talented Dutch designers for his work between art and design, imagined this creation edited by Nodus. Under the name of a unicellular micro-organism, he affixes its rebellious and playful, intellectual and artistic touche ; he imagines a rug reminiscent of these toys of flat labyrinths equiped with a small ball where it is question of finding the right inclinations to direct the trajectory of the ball from a starting point to arrival. Superbly hand-knotted in pure wool, Ciliophora strongly displays its dynamic, irregular and captivating shape.
