This vibrant collection reproduces abstract paintings by Italian artist Manlio Rho. Born in 1901 in Como, he began painting in 1918. Evolving in the same direction as his contemporaries of Bahaus and the Dutch neoplasticism of Mondrian, the work of Manlio Rho is marked in 1933 with flat colored shapes approaching Purism, in compositions based on orthogonality. Beautifully restored as luxurious rugs by the brand Amini with the help of the artist's heirs, these creations display an intense, complex and undoubtedly modern character.
