The cushions of the Winter Vanessa collection are composed of a mixture of different and varied materials. In all cases, Missoni chooses to make polyester and cotton predominant. This is largely due to the inherent qualities of these two materials: cotton is beautiful, soft and biodegradable when polyester resists stains and abrasion. The prints and jacquards of this range of pillows have mostly natural floral themes, but stripes can also be found. To highlight these models, designers have used techniques of visual dimension, but also tactile. A boiled wool aspect can thus give a pleasant texture to the touch and thanks to a good weave, elements can seem to float on a background.
