Collection Ulf Moritz

The Ulf Moritz collection by Sahco contains creations by the German designer Ulf Moritz. It was not without reason that he was chosen as designer of the year in 2003 by the German magazine Architektur und Wohnen. He graduated in textile design and then set up his own studio in Amsterdam. He mainly works in the fields of textile and interior design. An Ulf Moritz textile collection has been produced since 1986.

His fabrics and wallpapers can be seen all over the world. He was also awarded the title of Royal Designer for Industry by the Royal Society of Arts in London. He amazes us again with this range of innovative textiles both with regard to the design aspect and the production techniques.

To that, you can add trimmings that combine tradition and modernity. Organza and satin ribbons are used to create unique pieces, combinations of original materials, such as polished steel, mother of pearl and varnished lacquers. All the items are made by hand in Italy. That particularly shines through with superb twisted ribbons, just one of the subtle details that characterises this collection.
