Natural and artisanal plant fabrics!

CMO's plant fabrics are made in carefully chosen artisanal workshops in the Philippines, Indonesia or Nepal for example. The fibers used for these fabrics and wall coverings are mainly white nettle, banana, water hyacinth, straw, hemp, bamboo or palm. Raw materials go from the field to the workshop without intermediaries. The craftsman then works them by hand. These noble materials allow the production of blinds, curtains, seat covers, modular wall partitions, etc.

According to CMO, the choice of high-quality materials is part of an environmentally conscious approach. The brand favours fast-growing plants, harvested using low-impact methods, and makes the most of renewable natural resources. CMO also promotes artisanal craftsmanship by collaborating with small workshops and family-run businesses. The materials are selected and then worked by hand, giving each creation a genuine sense of authenticity. By favouring a short production chain, “from field to workshop”, the brand promotes a more direct supply chain. Although CMO does not disclose any environmental or social labels or certifications, it nevertheless affirms its commitment to biodiversity and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
