Koziel, a passion for décor and trompe-l’œil

Koziel has become known for its high-end Haussmann-style wallpaper, trompe-l’œil designs, and decorative accessories. The brand creates unique wall décors that are impressively realistic and often stem from an inspiration, an encounter, or a real favorite. The designers draw their inspiration mainly from natural, plant-based, mineral, and raw materials.
Led by Christophe Koziel, the team of 10 is based in Lille. The vast majority of their products are made in France, or otherwise in Belgium or the Netherlands. This proximity is also driven by the goal of more eco-responsible production, with a lower environmental impact, no overstock, and a focus on the local economy.

Koziel’s CSR approach is based above all on concrete choices in production and customization. The brand favors designs created to last, with strong visual impact and a bespoke approach that makes it possible to adapt each creation precisely to the final project, thereby limiting unnecessary production. Koziel also highlights French manufacturing and highly controlled creative processes, reflecting a commitment to quality, a shorter production chain, and tighter process control. In addition, the paper used comes from sustainably managed forests, and the printing partner has obtained the international Ecovadis certification, which demonstrates a structured commitment to responsibility within the production company.
