Classical style dances with modernity in Lorenzo Castillo's VOLUME X collection, a tribute to the tenth anniversary of the Gastón y Daniela house. The series, made up of wallpapers and textured fabrics, pays tribute to European art. Some are reminiscent of the luxurious tapestries that adorned medieval interiors. Others are reminiscent of real gems, where the jacquard pattern plays with the colours and shine of the fibres. The sophisticated graphics and textures are reminiscent of the rich velvets of yesteryear. The palette also reproduces the shades of the period, which sometimes play on sobriety and minimalist charm. This apparent simplicity is combined with boldness to create interiors with character.
