Collections Wellbeing

The Wellbeing collection is a selection of rugs that showcase a back-to-nature approach. Its fibres are sustainable and local, without bleaching agents or dyes. Nanimarquina's aim is to offer a connection with the senses. Using different traditional techniques, the designs bring a warm dimension to any interior. Handcrafted details make all the difference. The touch is emphasised here. The choice of materials has been carefully considered and selected by the Nanimarquina team. Hand-spun Afghan wool, nettle, jute, linen, Tussar silk, as well as cork, wood, raw wool and raw cotton were chosen. Trusted local craftsmen produced it. The collaboration between Nanimarquina and Ilse Crawford began in April 2017. The artist puts human needs and desires at the centre of everything she creates. The focus of this duo is the use of sustainable fibres. A thorough research work then began that resulted in a conscious, human-centred result.
