Founded by designer and artist Rebekka Stange, Räkki Rugs draws its strength from a vision where the rug becomes a living canvas. The house, based in Berlin, Germany since 2022, combines contemporary artistic influences and the ancestral know-how of Tibetan knotting. The compositions vibrate with delicate colors and geometric shapes that evoke both modernity and emotional depth. Each design is the result of a rigorous manual process, reflecting a search for nuance and presence in space.

Räkki Rugs transcend simple decoration. They imbue the premises with a warm and refined atmosphere. The brand also offers a bespoke creation service. Each project is redesigned according to the desires, tones and dimensions specific to each interior.

The use of natural fibers - lambswool from the Tibetan high plateau, Chinese silk or nettle - gives each piece a unique texture and a lively palette. The variations of colors are born from the hand that cards, dyes, and spins each material.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of Räkki Rugs. In the workshops of Kathmandu, Nepal, master knotters perpetuate the tradition of the Tibetan loop knot, a rare technique that gives a remarkable tactile depth. Each carpet requires several months of meticulous work, from the initial design to the final weaving, before being carefully washed and dried in the sun. Thus, each creation bears the imprint of noble imperfection, a sign of its authenticity and its inimitable character.
