Founded in 1902, Romo is a family business based in Nottingham in the UK. During the late Victorian period, Romo was a small company manufacturing furniture. It gradually specialised in seat fabrics. Today, the brand designs and markets exclusive upholstery fabrics, wallpapers and passementerie for residential and hotel interiors. Many and varied, the collections include classic and contemporary prints, luxurious damasks, silks, jacquards, chenilles, velvets and a wide selection of plains and faux plains.
The English expertise of a renowned international fabric house. Currently, Romo and its 250 employees are managed by the great-grandson of the founder, Jonathan Mould. Romo recently won the Queen's Award for Enterprise, for their international commerce, the highest distinction possible for UK businesses. Romo is renowned all over the world for offering excellent quality designs and fabrics. This success is based on their exclusive designs, created by experienced designers and by close working relationships with suppliers, experts who have been carefully chosen.
