Digitally restored with patience and care by Le Grand Siècle, Port-Royal is a wallpaper with a lush floral motif. First produced in 1789 and now in the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, it is a creation of the renowned Réveillon manufactory. It features a printed cotton pattern depicting blooming flowers surrounded by veined leaves and supple branches, whose strong outlines structure the composition. The vegetal arabesques intertwine with regularity, creating a continuous flow. The wall surface becomes a dense ornamental field, defined by the precision of the lines.
