Yugen, a Japanese-inspired wallcovering by Arte, features a grid of vertical rectangles. The figures are lightly embossed with a suede-effect flocking, whose matt finish contrasts with the glossy background. As well as being soft to the touch, they create a striking 3D effect. One by one, the squares seem to emerge from the wall, expressing the implicit depth of the space from every angle.
