For seven decades, Larsen has surprised with its collections of fabrics and wall coverings shaped by nature and distant horizons. Each piece carries the subtle signature of Jack Lenor Larsen, whose innovative spirit has conquered the biggest stages. The famous designer is one of four Americans to be honored with an exhibition at the Palais du Louvre. In addition to the house that bears his name, Mr. Larsen also created LongHouse Reserve, which illustrates a creative approach to contemporary life.

In a note written in 2019, Mr. Larsen evokes the spontaneous and singular essence of his works: “For a long time, I have been a manufacturer - often at least habitual and with some success -… I don't know yet what will be given to us ”. These writings recall the old proverb "Be an open bowl so that opportunity can fill you" which suggests the importance of remaining receptive and seizing the opportunities that arise.
