Bullerswood Fabric Morris and Co

Inspired by a hand-woven rug, Bullerswood is adapted into a fabric by Morris & Co. in 1893. The Persian influence of the designs is often related to the Kirman vase technique. Indeed, its pattern includes stylized circular branches on which giant flowers and exotic birds rest. The whole is enhanced by monochrome tones, giving it an elegant and subtle finish.
