Collection Merida

Montecolino invites you to take a trip to Mexico with the Mérida collection, named in honour of the legendary Yucatecan 'white city'. Mérida is a gateway to the exotic and cultural riches of Latin America. The journey begins with the ripples of the beach, the Mayan sites and the colourful facades of the old haciendas. The editor reproduces the rocky texture of these attractions with natural sand, on colourful wallpapers. The designs also explore the wild beauty of flower-filled valleys, reinterpreting them in a wide range of colours. The same goes for the paramos in the high mountains, depicted in a wide range of monochrome shades. The figures are displayed in style, on a matt base with a sophisticated finish. These imitate the fibrous aspect of textiles, like the Décor wallpaper with its highly artisanal feel. Other models, similar to gauze, recreate the warmth of wall coverings made from plant fibres. These materials are reminiscent of nature, which is the very essence of the Mérida collection.
