The nomadic history of Golran rugs began in 1898 in the Persian city of Marshad. Since 2000, the production is established in Nepal and each rug is handmade like in the old times. From Marshad to Milan (where the company established its headquarters in 1968) and for 3 generations, the descendants of Golran still run the company with the same talent, reliability and the same desire to preserve an exceptional know-how combined with innovative manufacturing process.



Golran rugs are the result of a multitude of secrets that only time can reveal. There is the raw material on which the final, enduring result depends: wool, cashmere, angora, mohair, silk, linen, cotton are rigorously selected. The precise gestures of knotter craftsmen, whose experience allows them to imagine new process in order to answer to new projects. Finally, washing and drying ensure the perfect stability of each Golran rug. Implanting the artistic direction in Paris in 2010, the brand has demonstrated a masterful ability to position itself at the crossroads of tradition, innovation and creation. Thus Golran extends in many countries around the world and diversifies by offering its expertise to professionals for custom manufacturing for the most luxurious interiors.
