Arte's Alepine wallpaper is inspired by ancient wall fabrics made of alépine, a lightweight wool and silk fabric. Here, the textile is torn into wide vertical strips, before a plaster finish is applied to mold each detail. The whole is then reproduced by printing on metal foil, whose reflection brings to life the lustre of the fibres.
