Maya Lineage Rug Rols

Maya Lineage is a rectangular rug composed of vertical bands that alternate inclined chevrons and embossed dots, arranged in regular columns. The pattern unfolds over the entire surface with a constant and orderly repetition. A tone-on-tone border, soberly sewn, frames the whole with rigor. The design is born from a flat weaving technique, entirely handmade on a loom by Rols.
