Permutation Brown Rug Christopher Farr

The painting of William scott, born in Scotland in 1913 explores the themes of landscape, still life and feminine nudes, before moving, from the end of the 1940s, towards a simplified mode of representation oscillating between figuration and abstraction. After 1965, the artist worked around kitchen tools subjects such as cups, pans, dishes, reduced to simple shapes, rounded contours, without perspective or relative scale. Permutation Brown rug is adapted from a 1977 painting, faithfully reproduced in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts and the William Scott Foundation@Estate of William scott.
