Based in the Netherlands, designer Claire Vos explores the different capacities of threads and ribbons to imagine two patterns that she brings together on Tangle Medan rug. Thus the background takes the appearance of a mat while the ribbon seems to crimp some details until interfering in the background pattern, taking part in its construction. Tangle Medan whose contours are expressed in a free form participating to the motif, is a fascinating and unique rug.
