Dedar’s Mappamundi fabric reveals effusive lines that evoke a shower of shooting stars. The pattern, composed of fragmented lines that appear as if drawn with chalk, sketches an imaginary celestial map. Each reflection appears suspended in the darkness of the fabric, in dialogue with the void. The dense texture combines the warmth of wool with the suppleness of linen, creating a weave that is as tactile as it is visual.
