Loiret oxford fabric, made of linen and cotton, has a grainy texture and a deceptively plain appearance. The earthy colour of the weft is nuanced by the whitish tint of the warp, to avoid flatness. The grains on the surface are the result of a very narrow braided weave, creating a dense weave that is highly resistant to abrasion.
