The Cornelius velvet impresses with its oriental figures with medieval charm and its lustrous surface with fine downy pile. To create the design, Ralph Lauren drew inspiration from the worn pieces of a vintage Persian carpet. These were assembled into a mosaic, then scanned and printed on a double-weave cotton and viscose textile.
