Using his own name, Adolphe Halard opened a high-quality upholstery fabric shop in Paris. He surrounded himself with famous artists, in particular Suzanne Fontan, and became a creator of fabrics and wallpapers expressing the sensibility of contemporary artists: thus the Nobilis spirit was born.
