Masureel presents the Tessura collection, guided by a subtle dialogue between material and design. Throughout the wallpapers, textile fibers, organic imprints, and spontaneous gestures come together to form a language with a variety of expressions. More subdued, the solid and textured patterns reveal fine weaves, irregular striations, and diffused marks that delicately modulate depth. Some wallcoverings are adorned with free-form geometries, while others reveal plant or imaginary landscapes with cleverly sketched perspectives. From cork to weaves, from ancient tapestries to Japanese sensibility, the inspirations subtly complement each other. Texture then becomes the common thread between abstraction and figuration.
