The art of presence, between minimalism and sculpture

Founded in 2017, 101 Copenhagen stands out as a singular voice in the contemporary design landscape. Rooted in Scandinavian culture, the Danish house dialogues with Japanese aesthetics to compose a refined visual language. From this encounter between minimalism and know-how, collections of furniture, lighting and decorative objects are born. Both bold and timeless, these pieces cultivate the sobriety of lines, the strength of raw materials and the softness of an organic palette.

In a quest for balance between form and use, each element reveals meticulous attention to textures and volumes. Far from standardized production, 101 Copenhagen is part of a living movement, between tradition and innovation. Its creations mark the space with their sculptural presence, while retaining a precise function. Through a coherent aesthetic vocabulary, they dialogue with each other, capable of structuring a decor or imposing themselves on their own.

At the heart of this assertive identity, the collaboration between designers Tommy Hyldahl and Kristian Sofus Hansen plays a central role. Their complementary nature fosters a free and intuitive approach, where experimentation coexists with high standards. Together, they give rise to a sensitive narrative: each piece becomes the reflection of a gesture, a material, a singular vision of the world.
