Collection Giles Deacon

The Sanderson x Giles Deacon collection is the result of a meeting between Rebecca Craig, design studio manager from Sanderson, and designer Giles Deacon. The designs in the series are all updated archives, such as the botanical wallpapers Lakeland Paradise, Cupid's Beau and Trelliage. The Aperigon, Aurelia's Grail and Ooology designs, meanwhile, come entirely from dresses created by Deacon. The artist is also adding new works to the range. The single-colour fresco Pygmalion is a bold example, featuring an antique style punctuated by baroque and rococo. The various figures, revisited or not, are all hand-painted. They enliven spaces with a wide range of colours, from tonal hues to more cheerful, diversified shades.
