Highly skilled craftsmen produce furniture, lighting, wallpaper, and accessories. Materials are selected for their presence, their textures, and their ability to embed each object in a lasting aesthetic continuity. LCE’s approach to social and environmental responsibility is based on concrete choices in terms of production, craftsmanship and durability. LCE works with specialised European workshops, mainly located in France, Italy, Portugal and Central Europe, with which the brand has maintained long-standing relationships. Production is made to order, without speculative stock, in order to limit overproduction and unsold inventory. The collections are designed to last and remain repairable, notably through the availability of spare parts, the re-edition of covers and the replacement of wear components. Materials — wood, marble, metal, leather and textiles — are sourced from European suppliers.

From a social perspective, the brand works with partners operating under European labour law, thereby contributing to the preservation and promotion of their expertise and craftsmanship.

LCE nevertheless remains transparent about the current limitations of its approach: traceability across its entire supply chain has not yet been certified. At this stage, LCE does not claim to have a formalised CSR policy, but aims to make concrete and transparent progress, particularly in terms of the traceability of materials and suppliers.
