Orla Kiely wallpaper
Born in 1963, Orla Kiely is an Irish designer based in London. She began her career by designing hats and handbags and various objects such as kitchen accessories. She graduated from the Royal College of Art and worked for different companies before becoming independent. She notably worked for Marks and Spencer and Habitat. She is described by the Guardian as the Queen of Prints.
For the Harlequin brand, a company specialising in high-end interior design, she designs sixties style wallpapers with vintage colour harmonies. The "Stem" leaf design is reproduced in several versions, changing scale and shades. The Multi Stem Original wallpaper was a great success among fans of pop design, geometric motifs and has a Scandinavian spirit.
