Orpheum is a fabric collection by Schumacher, conceived as a discovery of surface effects and the evocative power of pattern. Deep textures meet vibrant designs, ranging from abstraction to stylized figuration. Lines break or undulate, and creations are layered with nuanced reliefs, as if marked by the passage of a free gesture. Each fabric explores an expressive materiality: dense chenilles, downy weaves, or textiles with atmospheric appearances. The ensemble recalls an interior landscape, shifting and tactile, traversed by graphic or animal resonances. In this series, the illustration suggests and emerges, carried by the material itself.
