The A World Within collection, designed by MOOOI, explores watercolor abstraction through a series of rugs with pictorial compositions. Stemming from a collaboration with illustrator Emma Larsson, it reveals a sensory universe with blurred boundaries. Each design, derived from a hand-painted original, evokes an interior landscape. Diffuse forms, diluted layers, and granular textures merge into a sensitive decor. In a suspended atmosphere, the patterns suggest water reflections, evanescent vegetation, or imaginary reliefs. These creations convey the intensity of the artistic gesture on a textile surface, providing a visual immersion full of nuances and depth.
