Carpet Ceramic Tiles Bicolore 1 Francesco De Maio

Carpet Bicolore 1 is a composition of 20 centimeter side tiles in glossy ceramic, made and painted by hand in Italy. This creation by architect Giuliano Andrea dell'Uva in collaboration with Francesco de Maio features, once assembled, a graphic and lively two-tone carpet. Part of the carpet is made up of a solid color where the gesture of the brush is displayed, opposing sharp and contrasting vertical stripes. At both ends of the carpet are fringes that intertwine.

There may be slight variations between styles. These are not defects. They demonstrate the unique character of each piece.

Cleaning advices

We recommend regular cleaning with hot water or steam. As these tiles are non-porous, greasy cleaners should be avoided. For intensive cleaning, use white vinegar or baking soda and rinse thoroughly.

Cut

Unrectified: after firing, the tiles are not cut. Slight differences in size remain (+/- 3mm). Slightly rounded edges require a wider seal.

Gelif: these tiles should not be laid outdoors at the risk of seeing them crack. There are exceptions: contact us for a project in a dry area with little temperature variation.
