With Penellato, Italian publisher Francesco de Maio offers a sumptuous plain ceramic tile. Handcrafted and painted, each tile is unique. A subtle brushed appearance reveals the brush strokes bringing texture and depth to the coating. It is possible to alternate the direction of the tiles thus giving rhythm to the spaces. There may be slight variations between styles. These are not defects. They demonstrate the unique character of each piece.

Cleaning advices

We recommend regular cleaning with hot water or steam. As these tiles are non-porous, greasy cleaners should be avoided. For intensive cleaning, use white vinegar or baking soda and rinse thoroughly.

Cut

Unrectified: after firing, the tiles are not cut. Slight differences in size remain (+/- 3mm). Slightly rounded edges require a wider seal.
