Glimmer Rug Kirkby

Kirkby has designed the Glimmer rug, whose geometric pattern unfolds in irregular shapes with sharp contours. Fragmented solid colors interlock in a discontinuous pattern, between sinuous bands, broken angles, and graphic negative spaces. The design captures the ripples of water and the shifting shimmer of its reflections. Hand-tufted and mostly made of wool, it has a dense and tactile surface.
