The round Baobab rug by Louis de Poortere has a circular shape with an enveloping softness. Its geometric pattern is inspired by the legendary baobab of Senegal and transposes its structured imprint. The design superimposes vertical lines and irregular fragments that evoke the scarred bark and the density of the trunk. Woven from recycled fiber, it asserts a conscious and controlled material.
