Kate Blee, artist and designer based in London since 1986, works on supports and materials as varied as wood, paper, clay and fabric. Awarded the prestigious title of “Royal Designer of Industry” in 2015, her work is renowned for its passionate exploration of the relationships between colors and shapes. His designs have been translated into wallpaper, prints or rugs and are in the public collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Crafts Council and the Contemporary Arts Society. The Penny Falls rug reveals an astonishing random assembly of black pellets and is made from pure wool hand-spun by craftsmen selected by Christopher Farr.
