Ferm Living places responsibility at the heart of its business model with a 2030 strategy built around three pillars: Our Planet, Our Society, and Our Community. The Scandinavian design brand aims for full transparency on its products, obtaining recognized certifications (FSC™, GOTS, GRS), and achieving carbon neutrality by measuring the CO₂ footprint of every item through an internal climate analysis method.

From the design stage, Ferm Living adopts a “cradle-to-grave” approach to optimize the product life cycle, prioritize responsible materials (FSC wood, GOTS organic cotton, recycled aluminum or PET), and create durable products estimated to last 8–12 years. Around one-third of the collection already carries the RESPONSIBLE label, with a goal of continuous improvement.

This commitment applies across the entire range: furniture, rugs, textiles, lighting, and accessories, all designed to last and fit seamlessly into a responsible interior. GOTS-certified rugs and textiles guarantee organic fibers and socially responsible production, while FSC-certified wooden furniture ensures sustainable forest management.

The supply chain is governed by audits and certifications to ensure safe and fair working conditions, while products are tested by independent bodies. Ferm Living is a signatory to the UN Global Compact, publishes an annual responsibility report, and is committed to giving back to local communities.
