The fabric design team focuses on a commitment to push the boundaries of functional and aesthetic materials. All Kvadrat fabrics come with a 10 year warranty. The sustainability of the fabrics is an essential value for Kvadrat, many of its creations have obtained the EU Ecolabel. Kvadrat offers a comprehensive choice of upholstery fabrics by the metre and in a wide variety of designs and colours.

Kvadrat, the Danish reference in high-end furnishing fabrics, places social and environmental responsibility at the heart of its strategy, named "Regenerate Together through Transparency". The brand has validated science-based emission reduction targets (SBTi), becoming the first interior textile company to achieve net-zero validation under this framework, a rare and independently verified climate commitment in the sector.

Several independent certifications attest to this approach. The EU Ecolabel, awarded after a rigorous life-cycle analysis, already covers 59 references at Kvadrat, with a stated goal of 90% of revenue certified by 2030. Around 90% of Kvadrat's textiles are also Greenguard certified, guaranteeing low volatile organic compound emissions, an important criterion for indoor air quality. The dyes used consistently meet EU Ecolabel requirements.

In terms of materials, Kvadrat favours natural fibres such as wool, with a significant share of its woollen textiles sold in Europe already eco-labelled, as well as solutions that make use of textile waste (wool and cotton recycled into acoustic felts). The brand also aims to reduce its water intensity and production waste by 25% by 2030, with a target of recycling 90% of remaining waste.
