Today a pilgrim town in India and home to many temples, the Madurai lends its name to the cotton textile of the same name signed by Casal workshops. The fabric is decorated with flowers and branches with exotic colors reminiscent of arabesques and paisleys motifs. Their richly decorated petals resemble oriental designs made with henna powder.
